This stuffed bread is prepared with water chestnut flour (Singhada) instead of regular whole wheat flour, making it a popular dish for Navratri and other fasts.
Serves: 500gms
INGREDIENTS
· Shingade ka atta 500gms
· Potato 500gms
· Green chilli 40gms
· Coriander leaves 100gms
· Water to make the dough
· Salt- to taste
· Cumin seeds 10gms
· Ghee 150gms
METHOD
1. Boil and mash potatoes. Keep aside.
2. Add shingade ka atta to the potatoes.
3. Add roasted and crushed cumin seeds to it.
4. Add finely chopped green chillies and salt to it.
5. Add chopped coriander leaves.
6. Combine the ingredients into a soft dough.
7. Portion the dough equally and roll it out flat.
8. Cook on a flat tawa with some ghee.
