Nachos with Salsa


Crispy tortilla chips Nachos along with fresh salsa is always a crowd pleaser!

Serves: 4 portions

 

INGREDIENTS

· Flavoured nachos 250gms

· Plain nachos 250gms

· Tomato 500gms

· Coriander 20gms

· Jalapeno 10gms

· Salt 10gms

· Pepper 5gms

· Tomato juice 50ml

· Onion 250gms

· Tabasco Sauce 10ml

· Avocado 340gms

· Sour cream 100gms

· Cream cheese 80gms

METHOD

1. For making the tomato salsa, chop tomatoes without seeds.

2. Chop jalapeno, coriander and mix it with the chopped tomatoes.

3. Add in salt and pepper.

4. Add onion and tomato juice.

5. Finely chop avocado and put it in a bowl.

6. Add whisked sour cream and cream cheese.

7. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Sprinkle the Tabasco sauce.

8. Place mixed nachos on a plate with a side of tomato salsa and avocado dip.

CHEF’S TIPS:

1. You can add grated cheese over the nachos and warm it up to make cheesy nachos.

2. Instead of an avocado dip, you can make guacamole by combining chopped avocado, jalapenos, coriander and lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add in chopped tomato and onion.
