Serves: 4 portions
INGREDIENTS
· Flour 1kg
· Milk 100gms
· Eggs 50gms
· Salt 15gms
· Sugar 20gms
· Oil 50gms
· Baking powder 5gms
· Melted butter 100gms
METHOD
1. Sieve the flour together with the baking powder.
2. In a small bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, sugar and salt.
3. Add the flour with the egg mixture and knead it to a firm dough. Add oil and knead further.
4. Scale the dough at 100g portions, and cover them with a moist cloth till required.
5. Flatten the dough, fold it length wise and roll it to make a round shape
6. Flatten the roundels with your hand and place in a tandoor with a gaddi
Remove the naan once cooked. Sprinkle melted butter on the naan and serve.
