Garlic Bread


Bread topped with garlic and Italian herbs, usually served with pasta

Serves: 4 portions

 

INGREDIENTS

· Focaccia bread 10 slices

· Butter 200gms

· Garlic 60gms

· Parsley 30gms

Optional:

· Chili flakes 30gms

· Pizza seasoning 30gms

METHOD

1. Toast one side of the bread under the salamander grill.

2. Mix all the ingredients in butter to make a smooth paste.

3. Flip it and apply all the ingredients on the other side.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 8 minutes.

5. Ensure garlic is golden and serve hot.


CHEF’S TIPS:

1. Top the bread with mozzarella cheese for a creamier texture.

2. Use a day old bread as it absorbs the garlic and butter better.
