Chicken and Chili Toast


A scrumptious snack made of melted cheese, spicy chicken and crispy toast.

Serves: 4 portions

 

INGREDIENTS

· Bread 4pcs

· Chicken Tikka 160gms

· Onion 120gms

· Chili 16gms

· Salt 10gms

· Pepper 6gms

· Coriander 10gms

· Cheese 200gms

· Cumin powder 10gms

METHOD

1. Take onion and chili. Finely chop them. Keep aside.

2. In a bowl, grate cheese.

3. Add the chopped ingredients to it.

4. Add a pinch of salt, pepper and cumin powder.

5. Add a little quantity of chopped coriander. Mix well.

6. Take slices of bread and toast them.

7. Spread the cheesy mixture on top of the bread. Place it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 3 minutes.

8. Serve hot with your choice of sauce (ketchup/ sweet chili/ chili sauce).

CHEF’S TIPS

1. Addition of cream is optional- it makes the mixture easy to spread on the bread.

2. You can also saute the onion before adding to the mix. Make sure to cool it down completely.

3. Grating cheese becomes easy if the cheese is store in a cold place.
