Chicken Burger


Serves: 4 portions

 

INGREDIENTS

  • Minced Chicken 600gms

  • Bread Crumbs 60gms

  • Garlic 30gms

  • Grated Parmesan 60gms

  • Sea Salt 10gms

  • Black Pepper 10gms

  • Mustard 30gms

  • Egg 1

  • Chopped Thyme 20gms

  • Leek 60gms

  • Celery 60gms

  • Soft Butter 60gms

For Assembly:

  • Burger Buns 4

  • Iceberg Lettuce 60gms

  • Tomato Slices 120gms

  • Mustard Mayonnaise 80ml

  • French Fries 360gms

  • Ketchup 120ml (optional)

  • Mustard 120ml (optional)

  • Cheddar Cheese Slice 80gms (optional)

  • Caramelised Onions 120gms (optional)

  • Sauteed Mushrooms 120gms (optional)

METHOD

  1. Sauté the garlic, leeks and celery in soft butter till white and keep aside

  2. Take chicken mince in a bowl. Add the ingredients inside and mix thoroughly

  3. Make patty of 180 gms each using a ring mould

  4. Cook the patty on a hot griddle and finish in the oven at 180 degrees for 6 minutes.

  5. Rest the cooked patty

  6. Toast the burger buns and apply mustard mayonnaise

  7. Top up with lettuce, tomato slices, salt and cooked patty.

  8. Top up with cheese, caramelised onions, mushrooms if you like it.

  9. Serve with hot fries, mustard and ketchup.
