Tandoori Salad




Salad with a tandoori twist! Who said healthy food is boring?

 

INGREDIENTS

· Sliced Onion 100gms

· Sliced Bell Pepper 100gms

· Tomato roundels 100gms

· Pineapple slices cut in half 40gms

· Paneer Tikka 60gms

· Lemon juice 50ml

Marinade

· Chat masala 5gms

· Yellow chilli powder 5gms

· Shahi jeera 5gms

· Garam masala 5gms

· Roasted gram flour 30gms

· Vegetable oil 20ml

· Malt vinegar 10ml

· Salt 10gms

· Garam masala 5gms

· Kebab masala 2gms

METHOD

1. In a bowl, add all the vegetables and roasted gram flour powder, yellow chilli powder, chat masala, salt, shahi jeera, garam masala, vinegar and oil. Mix them together.

2. Take a skewer and place a piece of paneer tikka followed by four pieces of pepper, onions and tomatoes. Add 1 slice of pineapple also. Then cook it in a hot tandoor till tender.

3. Remove and place the paneer and other vegetables onto a plate and sprinkle kebab masala on the tandoori vegetables.

4. Serve the tandoori salad with two slices of pineapple on the side and lemon wedges for garnish
