A delicious Indian sweet dessert made with milk and fresh fruits.
Serves: 500gms
INGREDIENTS
· Milk 1000ml
· Sugar 150gms
· Saffron few strands (soaked in milk)
· Mixed fruits (apple, pear, grapes, mango/strawberry) (as per seasonal availability) 150gms
· Pomegranate 10gms
· Green cardamom powder 1gm
· Fresh rose petals (optional) for garnish
METHOD
1. Boil and reduce milk to 1/4th its quantity. (milk should become very thick in texture).
2. Add sugar after reducing the milk. Add cardamom powder in it.
3. Add saffron which has been soaked in luke warm milk.
4. Cool down the milk by refrigerating it for some time.
5. Cut all fruits into small equal sized cubes and add to the thick, cooled milk.
6. Mix well.
7. Garnish with rose petals and pomegranate seeds.
