Brownie with Ice Cream

Brownie with ice cream is a delicacy that one cannot resist! Soft and warm chocolaty brownies with vanilla ice cream!

Serves: 4 portions


 

INGREDIENTS

· Cocoa powder 85gms

· Refined flour 100gms

· Castor sugar 175gms

· Salt 1gm

· Baking soda 1gm

· Butter (melted) 40gms

· Eggs 1 no.

· Chocolate (melted) 50gms

· Vanilla essence 1ml

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper. Spray the parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, chocolate chips, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter and vanilla essence.

4. Sprinkle the dry mix over the wet mix and stir until just combined.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and use a spatula to smooth the top.

6. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

7. Cool completely before serving with a scoop of ice cream.

CHEF’S TIPS

1. Before slicing, make sure to cool down the baked brownies as it remains molten inside.

2. You can warm up the brownie before serving if you haven’t baked freshly.

3. You can drizzle chocolate sauce over the top for an extra chocolaty experience.
