Chicken Tangri Kebab

Tangdi or tangri literally translates to legs. Chicken drumsticks are marinated and then roasted on a tandoor for a smoky flavour.

 

Serves: 10 portions

INGREDIENTS

· Chicken drumstick 1.8kg

· Salt 30gms

· Jeera powder 20gms

· Hung yogurt 200gms

· Coriander powder 30gms

· Ghee 100gms

· Ginger garlic paste

· 40gms

· Mustard oil 50gms

· Javitri elaichi powder 20gms

· Garam masala 20gms

· Red chili powder 30 pcs

· Lemon juice 40ml


METHOD

First Marinade:

1. Apply ginger garlic paste on chicken with salt and keep aside.

Second Marinade:

2. Mix hung yogurt along with all other ingredients and make a marinade. Mix the drumsticks with this marinade.

Cooking:

3. Roast in a moderately hot tandoor for 8-10 minutes.

4. Remove from skewers and serve hot with masala onions and mint chutney.
