A different and unique boiled chicken smothered with processed cheese infused with royal cumin and crispy fried
Serves: 4 portions
INGREDIENTS
· Boiled chicken (chopped) 150gms
· Boiled potatoes (grated) 200gms
· Processed cheese (grated) 60gms
· Green chili (chopped) 10gms
· Fresh coriander (chopped) 2tsp
· Salt to taste
· White pepper powder 1/2tsp
· Egg 2pcs
· Shahi jeera a pinch
· Bread crumbs for binding
· Refined oil for frying
METHOD
1. Put chicken in a deep tray, add potatoes, cheese, green chilli, coriander, salt, white pepper, egg, shahi jeera, crumbs, mix well and keep aside for at least 45 minutes.
2. Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal parts and make balls using wet hands and give it a shape of medallion (tikki) shape.
3. Stuff the tikki with cheese.
4. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry until golden brown colour and crisp.
5. Serve hot with choice of a salad and chutney.
