Aam ka Panna is a refreshing Indian drink made from raw green mangoes which is especially popular in summertime.
Serves: 4 portions
INGREDIENTS
· Raw Mango 250gms
· Sugar 250gms
· Roasted Jeera 250gms
· Black salt 15gms
· Black pepper 10gms
· Mint 2 sprig
· Red Chilli Powder (Garnish)
· Salt (Garnish)
· Water 1L
METHOD
1. Peel the skin of the raw mangoes. Put them in a pot for cooking with water, covering the mangoes.
2. As raw mangoes become soft, scrape all the pulp from seeds.
3. Now add the rest of the ingredients one by one. Adjust the salt ad sugar according to taste.
4. Refrigerate it for 4 hours before serving.
5. Pour the aam panna in serving glasses with ice cubes.
6. Garnish it with some raw mango and mint sprig.
7. Serve chilled.
